Moldovan legislative body resumes publishing of parliamentary magazine

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- The first issue of the Parlament INFO news bulletin has been published. After an eight-year break, the legislative body resumed publishing its own magazine, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The publication covers major topics approached by the parliament during the year and presents the positions of the parliamentary factions and MPs on discussed items, legislative news and the retrospective of the lawmakers' work.
The magazine is meant for central and local public authorities, civil society organisations, representatives of international institutions and diplomatic corps accredited in Moldova, international and parliamentary forums of states with which Moldova has set cooperation ties.
The information bulletin was published in the Romanian, Russian and English languages and is to reach the addressees soon. The magazine will be published twice a year, at the end of each ordinary parliamentary session. An editorial team made up of more parliament employees worked on elaborating the first issue of the magazine.
The first issue of the bulletin is titled ”European integration – national priority” and may be accessed on the parliament’s webpage. Among the items, the public will be able to read an exclusive interview given by President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Anne Brasseur, as well as an article signed by Parliament Speaker Igor Corman on a subject titled, ”European integration – a national project for which everybody must work”.
The magazine was worked out with the support of a project, "Improving the quality of democracy through parliamentary and electoral support," financed by the Swedish government, co-financed and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme.
