Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - Physicians and assistants from the emergency service will provide the first medical aid quicker, due to a donation of two high-tech ambulances, made by the Slovakian embassy.
Slovakian Ambassador Robert Kirnag today told journalists that the emergency vehicles would enhance the efficiency of the emergency medicine employees. "One ambulance will remain at the Emergency Medicine Institute and the second would go to Balti," the Slovakian diplomat said.
The diplomat said the medical device inside the car was more costly than the ambulance itself. "One vehicle was bought from a well-known international company at a symbolical price of 5,000 euros. This is a pilot project that might be extended, so that we will donate Moldova 10 ambulances yearly," Robert Kirnag stressed.
So far, the Slovakian embassy has carried out 20 micro-projects worth about 100,000 euros in Moldova. Schools were repaired, plays grounds for children children, bus/trolley bus stations were made and disadvantaged people from Chisinau received auditory devices and for measuring the blood pressure. In 2015, the embassy of Slovakia is to implement another six ecology projects in Moldova.
