Moldovan PM awards Olympic pupils

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today handed prizes to 23 pupils who had achieved results at regional and international Olympiads in 2014, within Olympics Gala, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
This year, Moldovan pupils got 25 medals, among which one gold medal, two silver and 22 bronze ones.
"By such events as Olympics Gala, a new tradition is created in Moldova. The fact that you managed to get 25 medals at the most complicated subjects makes me be more confident in the future of our country. I want to thank you for spreading the fame of Moldova this year. I wish you success in continuation and to work hard, as you have proved that, by much work and talent, you can achieve good results. Thanks for your teachers, due to whom you have gained performances", he said.
A few of the Olympics spoke about their formula of success.
The Olympics Gala is carried out the second year in a row, and is an event meant to celebrate gifted and persevering pupils who represented Moldova at international intellectual contests.
