Moldovan Liberal Democrats opt for boosting negotiations to form parliamentary majority

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- The faction of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) declares for boosting negotiations to form a parliamentary majority. The stance was expressed at a meeting of the faction today.
According to a press release by the PLDM, the participants in the meeting "opted for plotting clear milestones meant to ensure greater efficiency and finality to pro-European coalition formation process". "Taking into account complexity and scale of the problems due to be settled as promptly as possible, the PLDM faction declared for boosting negotiations by applying the principle of responsibility, reform continuity, professionalism and lawfulness, which would have resulted in voting of a pro-European government with full powers", the press release said.
At the same time, the PLDM faction opted "for strengthening and optimising parliamentary control by ensuring real gradual depoliticization of autonomous institutions responsible for supervision, regulation, control and exercising legality".
The sides also approached issues related to organisation of activity of the PDLM faction, future responsibilities of each MP, planning political agenda for next period. Also, an exchange of opinions was made referring to legislative priorities of parliament of the 20th.
