Top of Moldova's most influential politicians in 2014

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca ranks first on a top of 50 most influential politicians of 2014. The top was conducted by the Politicon Institute of Analysis and Political Consultancy and published today.
Leanca is followed by the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Vlad Filat, and Deputy Prime Minister, acting Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman. Parliament Speaker Igor Corman ranks fourth.
President Nicolae Timofti is on the fifth position, and the leader of the Party of Communists, Vladimir Voronin, - on the sixth. He is followed by mayor Dorin Chirtoaca and the leader of the Democratic Party (PDM), Marian Lupu. Acting Education Minister Maia Sandu ranks ninth. The top ends with the PDM first deputy leader, Vladimir Plahotniuc.
According to Politicon's commentary, "the political year of 2014 was complicated, during which Moldova reconfirmed its European option."
