Coach with 33 Moldovans overturns in Romania

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - A coach with 31 passengers and two drivers on board, heading from Chisinau to Bucharest, overturned nearby the Mihailesti settlement, Buzau county of Romania, today morning.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the press service of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), Ana Taban, has said that no person suffered in the wake of the accident.

"The passengers were provided with shelter at a nearby boarding house. The Moldovan embassy in Bucharest was contacted, and a coach is to be soon sent from Chisinau, with which the passengers are to continue their travel," Taban added.

Romanian meteorologists set an orange code of snowfall and blizzard in ten counties from eastern and southern regions of Romania, while another 25 counties are under yellow code, starting from 28 December evening till 29 December evening.
