Moldovan parliament sets up factions

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs informed about the setting up of the parliamentary factions at the first meeting of the newly elected parliament, held today.
Thus, the leader of the faction of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) will be Zinaida Grecianii and Andrei Neguta will act as deputy head of the faction. The faction of the Liberal Democratic Party will be led by Vlad Filat, with Valeriu Strelet acting as deputy leader. Violeta Ivanov and Victor Mindru, respectively, will be the head and deputy head of the faction of the Party of Communists.
Marian Lupu will act as leader of the Democratic Party's faction, with Vlad Plahotniuc and Dumitru Diacov elected as deputy leaders. The faction of the Liberal Party will be led by Mihai Ghimpu and Valeriu Munteanu will act as deputy leader of this faction.
