Pupils from left bank of Dniester to receive presents from Moldovan government

Chisinau, 30 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a decision on the earmarking of money to purchase presents for pupils of Moldova-run schools from the left bank of Dniester on the occasion of the winter holidays, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
It is about eight education institutions, where subjects are taught in Romanian from Moldovan eastern districts, that work under the general normative acts in the field, just as all education institutions of Moldova.
Giving presents to pupils from the above-mentioned schools has become a good tradition before the New Year and winter holidays. Thus, the cabinet members allocated 82,390 lei from the government's reserve fund to this end.
Presently, the Education Ministry ensures a good work of the eight education institutions from Moldova's eastern districts, where 1,498 pupils study. The work of these schools is organised and takes place under the provisions of the Constitution, Education Code and normative acts approved by the government.
