Maximum air temperature not to exceed 0 degrees in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 30 December /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a day-time air temperature of about zero degrees Celsius for 31 December – 6 January.
Light snow is expected on 1, 2 and on 4 – 6 January in some regions. No precipitation is forecast for the rest of the period. Roads are to be covered with glazed frost.
At night, the air temperature will oscillate between -13 and -19 degrees on 31 December – 1 January, between -1 and -6 degrees on 2 January, and between -3 and -9 degrees on 3-6 January.
During the day, the air temperature will vary between -8 and -10 degrees on 31 December, between 0 and -5 degrees on 1 January, about 0 degrees on 2-5 January, and between 0 and -5 degrees on 6 January.
According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service’s multi-annual data /1886-2013/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +13 degrees Celsius on 31 December 1970 and the lowest -21.8 degrees Celsius on 31 December 1895.
