Moldovan president conveys message of condolence to French counterpart

Chisinau, 8 January /MOLDPRES/- President Nicolae Timofti conveyed a message of condolence to his French counterpart Francois Hollande on 7 January, in connection with the terrorist attack in Paris, resulting in human casualties, the presidential press service has reported.

The message reads:

"Dear Mr.President,

I was deeply marked by the terrorist attack on the office of weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo. On behalf of the Moldovan people and on my own behalf, I want to convey sincere condolence to you and entire French people. We are with the families of those who have died in this tragic incident and we hope that those who are guilty will be sentenced in the name of law.

Please convey our message of sympathy to the grieving families".
