More jobs to be created in road constructions in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/ - About 1,000 jobs will be created in the roads restoration sector of Moldova this year. At a today's meeting with acting Transport and Roads Infrastructure Minister Vasile Botnari, representatives of international construction companies said that they were already employing.
According to the Transport and Roads Infrastructure Ministry (MTID), at the request of Botnari, construction companies have agreed to offer internships for vocational schools students from Moldova to train specialists in road restoration.
"This is a sector of the economy in which we will create thousands of well-paid jobs in the next years and we need qualified specialists we could employ here in the country," said Botnari.
MTID launched new rehabilitation sites on the Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni, Hincesti-Lapusna, Chisinau-Giurgiulesti and Hincesti-Cimislia national routes in November 2014. An investment of about 2.3 billion lei will be made for these roads from European funds.
