Moldovan Liberal Democratic Party leader, European Council president discuss by phone

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Vlad Filat, today had a phone conversation with European Council President Donald Tusk.
According to the PLDM press service, the sides addressed the social and political situation in Moldova and the march of negotiations for creating a the parliamentary majority and establishment of a pro-European government. Vlad Filat said the main objective of the negotiations was the continuation of Moldova's European integration and ensuring a stable governance of the country.
Donald Tusk stressed the need to speed up the creation of the parliamentary majority and reiterated the unconditional support of the European Union and his personal one for Moldova’s rapprochement with EU.
Liberal Democratic Party leader Vlad Filat thanked the European Council president for his constant backing provided to Moldova in achieving its modernisation and European integration objectives.
