Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/- Representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Democratic Party (PDM) and Liberal Party (PL) had a new round of negotiations on creation of a ruling coalition on 15 January. It concluded with no results.
PDM leader Marian Lupu said progress had not been registered after the talks, and there were the same issues not approached. "We will meet again, we will discuss. The country must have an effective governance and I assure you that such a government we will have as soon as possible", Lupu said.
PLDM leader Vlad Filat said the negotiations lasted too long, and they must be continued. "We must do our best to achieve a compromise in order to ensure a stable governance. We have a subject on the agenda of talks related to the position of country's president. The key problem is this approach of Liberals, who insist that this position should be shared", he noted.
PL leader Mihai Ghimpu said the opposite. "Anyway we get to that PL wants the position of president and here is the problem. In fact, this is not the problem, but the divergences we have. I think that everything is decided long ago, and we are supposed just for passing of time or to win the next game", he said.
The talks between PLDM, PDM and PL last a month and a half.
