Moldovan Communist MPs to participate in election of parliament's leadership

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs of the Party of Communists (PCRM) MPs will participate in formation of the parliament’s leadership bodies, - a procedure due to be initiated at a today parliament meeting.

The decision was taken at a today plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists. „We took the decision to participate in the setting up of the parliament’s leadership bodies, parliamentary commissions,” PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin said. He added that a post of parliament deputy speaker was to be given to one Communist lawmaker.

The parliament is to hold a meeting today at 15.00. The lawmakers will try to elect the parliament speaker and deputy speakers, create the Standing Bureau and set up the permanent commissions.
