Moldovan MPs to resume meeting on 22 January

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs, who held a in meeting today, took a break till 22 January at 15:00. The request came from the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) faction.

Lawmakers today convened to elect the leadership of the parliament, form the Standing Bureau and set up parliamentary commissions. The Socialist MPs requested that other subjects be introduced on the the agenda, in addition to the ones proposed by the MPs who demanded to convene an extraordinary session of the parliament. The proposal was not supported, however, by the lawmakers from the other factions. After the basic agenda had been approved, PLDM asked for a half-hour break. Returning to the session hall, the PLDM faction called for an additional break till 22 January.

The extraordinary session of the parliament started today and will end on 30 January.
