Moldovan parliament meeting adjourned

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - A today's parliament meeting has been adjourned. The MPs took a break till 23 January. The request came from the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) faction.
"To identify a candidate due to meet all necessary conditions and votes for being elected as parliament speaker, I request a break on behalf of the faction", said PLDM faction deputy leader Valeriu Strelet.
The break had been requested before the parliamentary factions could put forward candidates for the office of parliament speaker.
The MPs on 21 January assembled at an extraordinary session to elect the parliament speaker and deputy parliament speakers, set up the Standing Bureau and the standing commissions. The session ill end on 30 January.
