Warm weather expected in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a day-time air temperature of +8 degrees Celsius for 28 January – 3 February.

No precipitation is expected, in general, on this period. Rain is forecast only on 31 January – 1 February. Light haze is expected in some regions, roads are to be covered with glazed frost.

At night, the air temperature will vary between 0 and -6 degrees and between 0 and +5 degrees on 31 January.

During the day, the air temperature will oscillate between 0 and +5 degrees and between +3 and +8 degrees on 30 - 31 January.

According to State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +11.2 degrees Celsius on 28 January 1952 and the lowest -22.5 degrees Celsius on 28 January 1954.
