Ireland ratifies Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Irish parliament ratified the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union by majority vote on 27 January. The information was confirmed by the Foreign and European Integration Ministry.
Thus, Ireland is the 13th country to ratify the document after Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Croatia and Denmark.
The Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union was signed on 27 June 2014 and was ratified by the Moldovan parliament on 2 July, - a procedure due to be fulfilled by all EU member states.
