First European system to identify debtors launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - A negative register of active debtors, the first European system to identify debtors, has been launched on the communications services market, according to a press release by the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).
The new system ”provides services meant to prevent and diminish risks in business, as well as to give possibility to recover debts without additional costs and efforts”.
The register is managed by the INFODEBIT company, a member of the JULIANUS INKASSO European Group. INFODEBIT is specialised in managing, processing and spreading information about due debits via the Negative Register of Active Debtors. Presently, over 100,000 active debtors are included in this register.
According to the data provided by INFODEBIT, such registers work in over 20 EU member states. The efficiency of collecting debts via the above-mentioned register reaches the level of 40 per cent in these countries.
