Moldovan company awarded within Trademark of 2014 Year contest

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Ritlabs company has got the silver medal at the Export category within the Trademark of 2014 Year contest. The prize was awarded for the trademark The Bat!, and the prize awarding ceremony took place on 29 January evening.

The contest, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), is aimed at promoting successful practices in the marketing and branding sectors on the domestic market. The competition is a testing of the competitiveness of Moldovan services, carried out based on assessing trademarks by a professional jury and Moldovan consumers. 

Ritlabs is a company producing The Bat! - an e-mail software, well-known abroad. The limited company Ritlabs is the only firm from Moldova creating software for computer integrally, from the beginning till the end, and sells it worldwide under its own trademark, and The Bat! is the only brand in the IT sector of Moldova, widely known abroad. Each year, the company's software is sold in an average of 97 countries, and there are users of The Bat! software in 191 countries in all.  

At the ceremony held late on 29 January, the director of the Ritlabs ltd company, Maxim Masiutin, said the awarded prize was very important.

The medals of the Export Trademark category are awarded for the most efficient strategy which yielded considerable results in entering new markets. Participating in this category were marks of domestic companies, producing goods and providing services, that were registered abroad, conquer foreign markets and create a good image for Moldova.

The Bat! appeared on the world market in 1998 and is the main e-mail software at present. Among the software users, there are household computer users, state organisations, as well as banks and other financial institutions, enterprises from the aerospace, oil and gas industries, companies providing programmes and apparatus, a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses from 191 countries.
