Airplane urgently lands at Chisinau Airport 15 minutes upon takeoff

Chisinau, 31 January /MOLDPRES/ - An airplane Airbus 320 of the Air Moldova company, flying from Chisinau to Milan with 160 people onboard plus the crew members, today urgently landed just a short time upon the takeoff, because of a bird that entered the airship's right engine, the press service of the Civil Aeronautic Authority has reported.

Nobody has suffered in the wake of the incident. The passengers were disembarked on stairs, and the emergency exits were not used.

Following the landing, inspectors and technicians found out spots of blood in the wake of the impact and a defect of three blades of the right engine.

Subsequently, the passengers took off for Milan with another airplane with a delay of about 50 minutes.
