Moldovan president signs decrees appointing eight magistrates

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Nicolae Timofti today signed the decrees appointing eight magistrates, at a proposal by the Superior Council of Magistracy, the presidency's press service has reported.
Angela Bostan, Veronica Negru and Natalia Simciuc were appointed judges at the Chisinau-based Court of Appeal.
Oleg Moraru was appointed judge at the Court of Appeal of Balti.
Ion Rusu was appointed deputy head of the Drochia -based court for a four-year term.
The following magistrates were appointed for a term of five-year period:
Mihai Morgulet - judge at the Buiucani court, Chisinau;
Victor Sandu - judge at the Centru court, Chisinau;
Svetlana Tizu - judge at the Central court, Chisinau.
At the same time, Vasile Taban was released from the office of judge of the Soldanesti Court by presidential decree, given that he had committed disciplinary infringements.
