OSCE special representative for Transnistrian conflict settlement to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/ - Special Representative of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process, Ambassador Radojko Bogojevic today starts his first visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol this year.
According to a press release by the OSCE Mission to Moldova, the purpose of the visit is to carry out preparations for the next round of the five-plus-two negotiations. The latter will be scheduled once the activity of the one-plus-one working groups and meetings are resumed. The sides’ chief negotiators have not met since 6 October 2014.
Bogojević will meet interlocutors from both sides of the Dniester during his visit to Tiraspol on 9 February and Chisinau on 10 February.
The latest round of the five-plus-two talks took place in Vienna, Austria, in June 2014.
