Weather to cool in Moldova during next seven days

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of about 0 degrees Celsius during the day for 11 – 17 February.

Variable cloud sky is forecast and no essential precipitation is expected, with just light fog in some regions. Roads are to be ice-covered.

The minimal night-time air temperature will oscillate between -5 and -13 degrees Celsius on 11 – 12 February and between -2 and -7 degrees on 13 – 17 February.

During the day, the maximal air temperature is to stand at about 0 degrees Celsius.

According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/, on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +11.6 degrees Celsius on 10 February 1958 and 2002, and the lowest – 21.6 degrees below zero on 10 February 1956.
