New Moldovan government's action programme made public

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government action programme, due to be presented by Prime Minister-designate Iurie Leanca at the parliament meeting, was made public today, the government’s communication and media relations department has.
The cabinet's action programme for 2015-2018 includes 17 chapters: fighting corruption; foreign policy, security and defence; Moldova’s reintegration and statehood consolidation; economic development, enhancing competitiveness and job creation; justice and human rights; domestic affairs and citizen’s safety; good governing; proactive social policies; education; health; culture; youth and sports; media; Diaspora; national minorities; environmental protection; civil society.
The programme is set to increase the wellbeing, safety and quality of life of citizens, especially by developing economy and facilitating creation of well-paid jobs, fighting corruption and guaranteeing supremacy of the law, ensuring personal security, etc.
The most reliable way to achieve these goals is the European integration, the programme says. To achieve this, the government is set to create all premises, which will ensure eligibility of Moldova in terms of getting the statute of candidate country to join the European Union.
At the same time, the cabinet will further speak out for Moldova’s reintegration. Besides, the government intends to build a society based on social model, by investing in development of human resources, ensuring equal chances, correct and just redistribution of incomes to disadvantaged groups and guaranteeing citizen's protection against any kind of discrimination. Also, investments will further be made in education, science, development of information technology and electronic services. As for the health protection sector, the action programme insists on deepening reforms, so that people have equal access to qualitative public health, medical and pharmaceutical services.
The above-mentioned programme is to be presented at the parliament meeting due on 12 February, in order to get the confidence vote.
