Moldovan,European officials tackle Transnistrian conflict-related issues

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Valeriu Chiveri today met Special Representative of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process Radojko Bogojevic, on a two-day visit to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
Ambassador Radojko Bogojevic reiterated the commitment of OSCE's Serbian chairmanship to promote the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, in particular by continuing the five-plus-two talks.
For his part, Valeriu Chiveri highlighted the willingness of the Moldovan authorities to advance the dialogue between the two banks of Dniester. He made an appeal to discourage the Transnistrian authorities’ unilateral actions, which might affect the Transnistrian conflict settlement.
