Moldovan premier-designate, Communist MPs hold talks

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister-designate Iurie Leanca described as constructive the talks held with MPs of the Party of Communists (PCRM) today.
Leanca said the final list of members of the future cabinet would be set till today evening. ”All candidates have been given final touches. The political bureaus of the Liberal Democratic Party and Democratic Party are to discuss in the afternoon, in order to approve the candidates for the minister offices,” Leanca said.
PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin said the party would take the final decision on backing the Leanca government on 12 February, after learning the nominal composition of the cabinet of ministers. „We discussed the government’s action programme. We expect the cabinet’s nominal composition, the programme exists, but the most important thing is who will fulfill it. Tomorrow, everything is to be decided, when we find out the composition of the government,” Voronin said.
Iurie Leanca is to ask for the confidence vote of the parliament for the government’s action programme and composition on 12 February.
