Moldovan Democrats present candidates for minister posts

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Democratic Party (PDM) presented the formation’s candidates for the office of minister in the future government today evening.

Thus, Stephane Christophe Bride is to hold the office of economics minister. Vasile Bitca will head the Regional Development and Construction Ministry, whereas Serghei Afanasenco – Youth and Sports Ministry. Victor Osipov will hold the office of deputy prime minister for reintegration. At the same time, the candidacy of Ruxanda Glavan was forwarded for the post of labour, social protection and family minister.

Three Democrat ministers from previous Leanca government will keep their offices. It is about Culture Minister Monica Babuc, Information Technology and Communications Minister Pavel Filip and Transport and Roads Infrastructure Minister Vasile Botnari.

Prime Minister-designate Iurie Leanca is to request the confidence vote of the parliament for the government’s action programme and full list on 12 February.
