Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of trade unions and employers submitted proposals for the action programme of the future government at a meeting Prime Minister-designate Chiril Gaburici today.
After the meeting with trade unions, Chiril Gaburici said talks were focused on social problems faced by employees. According to Gaburici, more proposals by trade union representatives have already been set out in the government action programme, while others are to be subsequently included.
National Confederation of Trade Unions (CNSM) Deputy President Mihail Hincu said the unions did not support the idea of a new Labour Code, but only spoke out for amending the present one. Employers, for their part, opted, in particular, for an analysis of the control structures in Moldova, creating favourable conditions for the economic agents’ activity and re-launching the economy.
Chiril Gaburici today also talked with representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) and Liberal Party leader Mihai Ghimpu. He also planned to meet Party of Communists' MPs today evening. Gaburici was nominated as candidate for prime minister on 14 February, after the Leanca government II had failed to get a vote of confidence.
