Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister-designate Chiril Gaburici presented the nominal composition of the future government in the parliament today.

The nominal composition of the Gaburici government does not differ much from the list of candidates unveiled by Leanca in the parliament on the previous week. Thus, the Economics Ministry would be led by Christophe Stephane Bride, a Moldovan citizen of French origin. Ruxanda Glavan was put forward for the office of labour, social protection and family minister. She is currently deputy minister at the aforementioned ministry. The Youth and Sports Ministry would be led by Serghei Afanasenco, the coach of the paralympic team of Moldova and the Construction and Regional Development Ministry - by Vasile Bitca, a former central Nisporeni district head.

Government Deputy Secretary General Sergiu Palihovici would become environment minister, and Mircea  Buga, the director of the National Health Insurance Company, - health minister. The Ministry of Agriculture would be led by Ion Sula, the director of the National Agency for Food Safety and the Interior Ministry - by Oleg Balan, the rector of the Academy of Public Administration. Political Analyst Viorel Cibotaru would become defence minister.

Seven ministers from the Leanca government will keep their posts. It is about Culture Minister Monica Babuc, Information Technology and Communications Minister Pavel Filip, Transport and Roads Infrastructure Minister Vasile Botnari. At the same time, Natalia Gherman would keep her office of foreign and European integration minister and Anatol Arapu - finance minister. Maia Sandu would also keep her seat at the Education Ministry. Oleg Efrim is going to lead the Justice Ministry, even if the second Leanca government nominated Vladimir Grosu to this office. This is the only change made to the list of candidates for the office of minister in the Gaburici government.

The office of deputy prime minister for reintegration would be given to Victor Osipov. Another two positions of deputy prime minister will be held by Natalia Gherman and Stephane Christophe Bride.

After Chiril Gaburici had presented the action programme and composition of the future Cabinet of Ministers to the MPs, the deputy leader of the PLDM faction, Valeriu Strelet, called for a break of 30 minutes.
