New Moldovan government gets vote of confidence in parliament

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today gave a vote of confidence on the action programme and full list of members of the government led by Chiril Gaburici. Sixty lawmakers backed the new cabinet.
Thus, the Economics Ministry would be led by Christophe Stephane Bride, the Construction and Regional Development Ministry by Vasile Bitca and the Youth and Sports Ministry would be led by Serghei Afanasenco. Ruxanda Glavan was put forward for the office of labour, social protection and family minister. Mircea Buga became health minister, and Sergiu Palihovici – environment minister. The Ministry of Agriculture would be led by Ion Sula, the Interior Ministry - by Oleg Balan and political analyst Viorel Cibotaru will hold the office of defence minister. Vladimir Grosu became justice minister.
Six ministers from the Leanca government kept their posts. It is about Culture Minister Monica Babuc, Information Technology and Communications Minister Pavel Filip, Transport and Roads Infrastructure Minister Vasile Botnari. At the same time, Natalia Gherman kept her office of foreign and European integration minister and Anatol Arapu - finance minister. Maia Sandu also kept her seat of education minister.
The office of deputy prime minister for reintegration was given to Victor Osipov. Another two positions of deputy prime minister are held by Natalia Gherman and Stephane Christophe Bride.
