Moldovan cabinet approves 2015 national plan on legislation harmonisation

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a national plan on legislation adjusting for 2015.
At the cabinet meeting, Justice Minister Vladimir Grosu said the plan needed to be passed, in order to successfully implement the Moldova – European Union Association Agreement. Grosu specified that the document included various areas of European policies, such as: the right of trading companies, agriculture, standardisation, health, safety at work, justice.
The plan stipulates the adjusting of the national legislation to about 150 EU acts. The document includes 96 drafts, of which 29 laws, 62 government decisions and five departmental acts. Sixty two of the drafts provided for in the plan are proposals of new documents, and another 34 – acts due to be amended.
The plan sets that, in 2015, the authorities are to adopt, in particular, the Law on financial inspection, Law on electric energy, Law on natural gas. The Law on consumers’ protection, Contravention Code, Labour Code will also be amended.
