Moldovan foreign minister to pay visit to Romania

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman had a phone conversation with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The Romanian official congratulated the Moldovan side for the investiture of the new government and reiterated Romania's full support for deepening the bilateral relations and implementation of Moldova's European agenda, including by organising a meeting of the Moldovan-Romanian Joint Commission for European integration in Bucharest in the near future.
The sides also exchanged opinions on the organisation of the next meeting of the European Action Group for Moldova, an important platform for dialogue launched at an initiative of Romania and France for advancing the European course of Moldova. The two ministers discussed the preparations for the Moldova-EU Association Council, scheduled for 16 March and the Eastern Partnership Summit, due in Riga in next May.
Minister Natalia Gherman accepted the invitation of her Romanian counterpart to pay a visit to Bucharest in the near future.
