Moldovan parliament creates commission for investigating situation on financial market

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today set up an investigating commission to clear up the situation on the financial and foreign exchange market of Moldova, measures undertaken to stabilise the exchange rate of Moldovan leu against the international currencies and situation at the Banca de Economii (Savings Bank), Banca Sociala and Unibank.
The commission will be made up of nine members, namely MPs of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon and Vladimir Golovatiuc, Communist lawmakers Oleg Reidman and Anatolie Zagorodnii, Liberal Democrat MPs Stefan Creanga and George Mocanu, Democrat lawmakers Marcel Raducan and Sergiu Sirbu, and Liberal MP Iurie Chirinciuc.
Marcel Raducan will head the commission, Oleg Reidman will act as deputy chairman and George Mocanu as secretary. The commission is to present a report in parliament, after making the necessary investigations.
