Moldovan president to visit Ukraine on 22 February

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Nicolae Timofti will pay a working visit to Ukraine on 22 February.

The presidential press service today has reported that President Timofti would participate, in Kiev, "along with other heads of state, in a Dignity March and other manifestations dedicated to the anniversary of the Maidan events, which resulted in the death of over 100 demonstrators and 20 policemen."

Nicolae Timofti has also scheduled informal discussions with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and other heads of state participating in the event.

The Moldovan president will go to Kiev, at an invitation by his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko.
