Moldovan parliament, Romanian Royal House to carry out joint actions to back EU integration

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan parliament and the Romanian Royal House might carry out a string of joint actions to back Moldova's European integration, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and Their Royal Highnesses Princes Nicolae and Radu of Romania, on a visit to Moldova, discussed a plan of joint actions at a today's meeting.
According to the parliament speaker, the Romanian Royal House has always had a special contribution to Moldova's development, by providing humanitarian, social, cultural and diplomatic assistance to Moldova. "We are to establish joint actions to help Moldova, especially on foreign dimension, in order to carry out the European agenda of association and get our country closer to EU," Candu said.
Andrian Candu gave assurances that Moldova continued to have a pro-European orientation. He asked for the support of the Royal House to convey this message internationally. "There is no change in the political perception from Chisinau in terms of European integration and association agenda," the speaker stressed.
His Royal Highness Price Radu of Romania referred to activities organised by the Royal House to support Moldova. "Practically, we tried to include also Moldova in all activities we have carried out over the last time. We are set to further develop these activities. In the travels we have, proceeding from our external agenda, we convey the message of Moldova's European integration," His Highness Prince Radu of Romania said.
Subsequently, Speaker Andrian Candu and Their Royal Highnesses Princes Nicolae and Radu of Romania laid flowers at the bust of Grigore Vieru in the Stefan cel Mare public garden.
