Moldova, Turkey to boost bilateral ties

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - Secretary General of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry Mihai Capatina, on a working visit to Turkey, met Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Naci Koru today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication services has provided.
The officials tackled the cooperation between the two states in the political and economic areas, strengthening of the bilateral legal framework, security of diplomatic missions and development of Honorary Consulates’ Network.
The sides also exchanged opinions about the boosting of bilateral ties. They pointed out the need to ratify the Moldova-Turkey Free Trade Agreement, signed on 11 September 2014, as soon as possible.
Also today, Mihai Capatina participated in a presentation of priorities of Moldova’s chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation.
