Moldovan premier receives congratulations from Russian counterpart on election in office

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - Russian Ambassador to Moldova Farid Mukhametshin, within a today's meeting with Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici at the government, handed a congratulatory message by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the occasion of election in office, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
"We rely on the fact that your work in this office will contribute to developing a Moldovan-Russian constructive dialogue and fostering the bilateral cooperation in diverse sectors," says the message by the Russian prime minister.
Chiril Gaburici stressed the importance of developing the Moldovan-Russian relations in all the cooperation areas. "This dialogue should be edified on the basis of partnership, at governmental level, in order to ensure an efficient collaboration in the interest of the citizens from the two states," the Moldovan prime minister said.
For his part, Ambassador Farid Mukhametshin reiterated Russia's willingness to give an impetus to carrying out more projects on the bilateral agenda. He specified that the Moldovan-Russian inter-governmental commission played an important role in this respect.
The sides tackled a wide range of subjects, including on economic cooperation, ensuring social protection of citizens from the two states, Transnistrian settlement, cultural and human ties. The officials spoke out for strengthening the bilateral relations and maintaining a constant dialogue.
