The official is on a working visit to Chisinau to attend a meeting of the council for trade of DCFTA, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

The sides exchanged information and opinions on the evolution of the trade relations and boosting commerce with EU, especially, prospects for  implementing the Free Trade Agreement in the Transnistrian region. "This issue must be a priority one both for Chisinau and Tiraspol", Osipov said. He added that the main goal of the government was to provide the best conditions for the export-import ties between the economic agents from the Transnistrian region and their partners from the European countries, which would help improve the social and economic situation in the region.

For his part, Devigne welcomed that the new government was determined to foster the reforms, adding that the implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, commerce in general, would be a decisive factor for Moldova's future. Also, the European official underlined that the economic agents registered in the Transnistrian region could enjoy preferences on the EU market, if Tiraspol observed the rigours of the agreement and the principle of reciprocity.
