Deputy foreign ministers of Visegrad Group to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 5 March /MOLDPRES/- The deputy foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group will pay a visit to Moldova on 5-6 March. The delegation is made up of deputy foreign ministers from the Czech Republic Ivo Šramek, Poland, Konrad Pawlik, Slovakia, Peter Burian and from Hungary, István Mikola, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's communication and media relations service has reported.
The visit's agenda will include meetings with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov.
The talks will focus on the priorities of reforms agenda for deepening Moldova's European integration, implementing the Moldova-EU Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit due in Riga, as well as the developments of the situation in the region.
Note: Visegrad Group (V4) is an informal and regional cooperation format (set up on 15 February 1991), which includes four central European states: Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary - united by the geographic area and similar geopolitical situation, by history, traditions, culture and common values. Starting from 2004, the Visegrad Group has turned into a platform for exchange of experience and working out of common positions on important issues for future of the region and EU. Slovakia is currently holding the chairmanship of the Visegrad Group.
