Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici today congratulated the Moldovan women, the government’s communication and media relations service has reported.
The message reads:
"Dear ladies, dear mothers, daughters and grandmothers!
The date of 8 March, celebrated worldwide today, makes me think about the women who have influenced my life – my mother, my wife, my grandmother - but also about all the women of our country, who are, for each of us, a constant source of inspiration and perseverance.
The women’s contribution is essential in any society. In Moldova, women have always been indispensable in the most sensitive and demanding areas of public life. Without them we can not imagine where we are schools where our children are educated or the hospital where our parents are treated. At the same time, our women have successfully affirmed themselves in activities once considered strictly for men - business, defence and politics.
There are performances that make me feel proud for the women of my country and at the same time, reinforce my view that we must do even more for women to have even more chances of affirmation in various fields. Only with the full participation of women in all spheres of public life will we be able to speak of a prosperous and harmonious society. Because unlike us, men, women can also analyse and make decisions through emotions. But mostly because they know how to combine, at the highest level, professionalism and dedication.
Thank you for all you are doing and I wish you, this spring, health and welfare for your families, and many fulfilled dreams! "
