Deputy PM meets WB Country Director for Moldova

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov today met World Bank Country Director for Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus Qimiao Fan. They discussed the activity of the World Bank in Moldova, including in the Transnistrian region and cooperation prospects for the next period, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

Osipov highly appreciated the WB's activity in Moldova, stressing that the projects implemented with its support were focused on the important sectors for the social and economic development of Moldova.

For his part, Fan reconfirmed the WB's support for Moldova's development and expressed openness and willingness to further back the country's reformation process.
