Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici today visited the Finance Ministry and met employees of the State Fiscal Service (SFS). The sides discussed the institution's activity in 2014, as well as the goals for 2015, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
SFS head Ion Prisacaru said that, in 2014, the overall revenues to the national public budget had amounted to 23410.6 million lei, which accounted for 107 per cent against the task of collection, up by 17 per cent against the year before. This is due to the widening of the range of services provided to taxpayers and measures of tax compliance. "In the first months of 2015, the task of collection to the national public budget was fulfilled at 109 per cent, ensuring a 15-per cent increase in budgetary revenues against the same period of the previous year", he said.
As for the goals for 2015, the SFS head said that they related to promoting the use of electronic services, such as the submission of declaration, electronic invoicing, etc., as well as promoting fiscal civicism.
Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici encouraged the employees of the Service to come up with initiatives, which would contribute to meeting the goals. In another context, he underlined: "I come from the business sector, and when I was dealing with business, I always wanted to see a partner in the State Fiscal Service and not only a control body. The independence of the work of the State Fiscal Service is a very important factor. All economic agents have to be treated equally. Everyone has the same rights and duties. I urge you to be equitable", he concluded.
Two diplomas "Taxpayer with high level of reliability" and another two ones - for the best professional accountants - have been handed during the event.
