Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldovans will be able to travel without visas to Serbia. The cabinet today approved a draft law on the ratification of an agreement on visa regime abolition between the governments of the two states.
Thus, the Moldovan citizens holding biometric passports will be able to enter, transit and stay temporarily on Serbia’s territory for a period of up to 90 days during six months after the date of the first entry. Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman said the abolition of the visa regime would not give beneficiaries the right to get employed in Serbia.
The above-mentioned agreement was worked out in Bucharest, Romania, on 23 December 2014. For the time being, it is not known when the accord will enter into force.
