Moldovan deputy premier meets Belgian ambassador

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Victor Osipov today met Bucharest-based Belgian Ambassador to Moldova Philippe Beke, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The ambassador congratulated Victor Osipov on his swearing in the office of deputy prime minister and wished him success in his activity.
The sides discussed the current situation in the Transnistrian conflict settlement, as well as aspects of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol. The officials underlined the need to address framework issues and maintain contacts at all levels, in order to identify practical solutions to the problems faced by residents from both banks of Dniester.
Victor Osipov thanked the ambassador for his interest in the Transnistrian conflict settlement and for the level of cooperation between Moldova and Belgium.
Philippe Beke said that Belgium would continue to support Moldova in the European integration process, as well as in its reintegration efforts.
