Head of Moldovan General Police Inspectorate resigns

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/- The head of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), Ion Bodrug, has resigned from office. The chief of the IGP press service, Sabina Cojusnean, confirmed the information today.
Bodrug ruled to leave the office "voluntarily," saying that he "will go to the private sector."
Ion Bodrug has served as Deputy Interior Minister during three months, and in March 2013, he was appointed as IGP head.
Bodrug's deputy Gheorghe Cavcaliuc will act as IGP chief.
