Weather to sharply cool in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a minimal air temperature of -5 degrees Celsius during the night for 18–24 March.
Sunny intervals were forecast for the next seven days. Snow and sleet is expected on 18 – 20 March. No essential precipitation is forecast for the rest of the period.
The minimal night-time air temperature will be about 0 degrees Celsius on 18 – 22 March, and between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius on 23 and 24 March.
During the day, the maximal air temperature will oscillate between +2 and +8 degrees Celsius and between +7 and +13 degrees on 21 and 22 March.
According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/, on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +20 degrees Celsius on 17 March 1989 and the lowest -9.5 on 17 March 1952.
