Moldovan parliament rules on organising spring cleaning actions around Easter

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today adopted a decision providing for organising spring cleaning actions throughout the country around Easter.

A group of deputies drafted the initiative. Liberal Democratic Party MP Chiril Lucinschi, who is also one of the authors of the draft, said that the aim of organising "the spring cleanup week titled “With a pure soul in a cleaner country” is to maintain a clean environment and promote a healthy lifestyle."

The lawmakers also accepted that representatives of local authorities and education institutions, in particular, participate in the sanitation actions.
