Romanian ambassador to Moldova meets regional development minister

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova was and is the most important strategic partner of Romania, said Romanian Ambassador Marius Lazurca at today's meeting with Regional Development and Constructions Minister Vasile Bitca.
The officials tackled the partnership and cooperation between the two countries, assistance and consultancy projects in regional development and constructions, supporting the adoption of Eurocodes in Moldova as well as RDA North’s implementation of a project titled "Creating an integrated system for sustainable development of the apiarian sector in the North Development Region of the Republic of Moldova".
Vasile Bitca highly praised the trust Romania showed Moldova, stressing that this was evidenced by the large number of projects in partnership with the Regional Development and Constructions Ministry. "Moldova has much to learn from Romania in the field of regional development and Romania's experience can serve as an example that will make us avoid the mistakes and problems faced by Romania over the years," said the minister.
For his part, Marius Lazurca said that he would like "for the number of joint projects to increase and be helpful for Moldovan citizens. Romania will continue to provide assistance and advice in carrying out the provisions of the governing programme and I hope we will also succeed in creating a Chisinau-Bucharest-Brussels triangle in the field of regional development, where questions and issues be discussed and resolved through the collaboration of the three sides", said the Romanian ambassador to Moldova.
