Electoral Commission presents preliminary results of elections for governor office in Moldovan southern region

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Comrat Electoral Commission today presented the preliminary results of elections for the office of governor of southern Territorial Administrative Unit (UTA) Gagauzia. According to them, Irina Vlah picked up 51.per cent of the votes.

She is followed by Nicolai Dudoglo, with 19.05 per cent of the ballots. Valerii Ianioglo grabbed 7.96 per cent of the suffrages, Dmitri Croitor – 6.2 per cent, Oleg Garizan – 5.11 per cent, Ruslan Garbali – 4.98 per cent, Alexandr Stoianoglo – 4.97 per cent. Less votes gathered Leonid Bobrov – 0.4 per cent, Serghei Cernev – 0.19 per cent and Ilia Anastasov – 0.13 per cent.

The participation quota in elections was of 58.1 per cent.
